  Observation. Four children with allergies did not contain the symptoms and the courses of action recommended by health care professionals.

  Corrective action. The Manager will obtain this information and include in each child's care plan.

  Observation. Evidence of validation of ECE and ECEA certificates were not available in staff's files.

  Corrective action. The Manager will validate staff's ECE and ECEA certificates and print out the results to be kept in each staff's file.

  Corrective action. Please ensure that all persons ordinarily present in the facility have a valid CRC.

  The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

  Observation. A child with allergies did not have a care plan available. The manager explained that the child is newly enrolled and the parents are still in the process of confirming the child's allergies and any course of action necessary. Licensing recommends to document this information in the child's file.

  Corrective action. Please ensure any care plans are developed in consultation with the parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.

  Observation. 4 staff files were reviewed and one staff did not have a site specific CRC. The manager explained that there has been issues with the sharing program and is in the process of obtaining a site specific CRC for the staff. Licensing recommends the manager to document the progress of obtaining the CRC in the staff file.

  Corrective action. Please ensure staff files are complete and updated.
