- Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (a) children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E.
Observation. The number of allowable children under 36 months old was exceeded in the 30 Months to School Age program.
Corrective action. The manager will ensure the number of children under 36 months old in the 30 Months to School Age program will not exceed the number allowed by Schedule E of the CCLR

- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that each piece of furniture or equipment for sleeping (c) is appropriate for the size, age and development of the children intended to use it.
Observation. Crib mattresses in the Group Child Care under 36 months program were set at the highest setting, posing a potential fall hazard for the children over 1 year old.
Corrective action. Manager said all crib mattresses will be moved to the lowest setting to ensure the safety of the children while in use.
11120 - CCLR s.15(2)(c) - EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Multiple containers of caulking were in an unlocked cupboard accessible to children.
Corrective action. Manager removed the containers and will ensure locks will be secure on all cabinets containing hazardous materials
11200 - CCLR s.17 - RECORDS AND REPORTING
The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation. Care plan not developed in consultation with the parent or any person requested by the parent.
Corrective action. Manager said care plans will be created and posted in each program
