- Applicants for licences and licensees must notify a medical health officer immediately of any change in the information provided under section 9.
Observation. The licensee was issued a licence for an In-Home Multi-Age Child Care program, which must operate within the licensee’s personal residence and include all areas of the premises. Licensing determined that the facility address is no longer the licensee's personal residence and part of the premises is tenanted.
Corrective action. The licensee will provide a written response addressing the contravention.

- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. One play pen had a hole in the mesh.,
Corrective action. The Licensee said that he will either repair the hole or purchase a new play pen.
11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - HYGIENE AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASE
A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.
Observation. The children's beddings were stored together.
Corrective action. The Licensee said that he will create storage for the bedding.
15030 - CCLR s.46(1) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (f) any medication administered to the child, including the amount and the time at which the medication was administered.
Observation. There is no record showing the amount and time that a medication was administered to a child by the staff. Parents pre-write this information.
Corrective action. The Licensee said that he will change the form to reflect times and amount staff administer.
