A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Broken wood with pertrduing nail in outdoor play area - Standing water in sandbox and flower pots - Cords in naproom were accesible to children - Fridge temperature measured at 5.5C
Corrective action. The manager will ensure the a healthy and safe environment is provided when children are in care
11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.
Observation. Licensing observed the following that was accesible to children: - Medicine was in reach out children - Painting supplies - Cleaning supplies - Dog food and antibiotics
Corrective action. The manager will ensure all objects and substances that may be hazardous are not accesible to children

A licensee must ensure that each employee (b) practices implementing the fire drill system at least once each month.
Observation. Licensing observed that the monthly fire drill was not being completed
