    Corrective action. Ensure that the fire extinguisher is serviced, and that children's emergency information are taken outside by staff while with children in case of an emergency.

    Observation. During the inspection, Licensing asked a staff for the daily attendance record. The facility was not able to show any attendance records to Licensing, and a staff said that it has not been completed for some time. Today, 7 children were observed to be present at the facility, and none were signed in.     Corrective action. An attendance record of children is required, and must show children's daily time of arrival, departure and any children who are absent.

    Observation. The last minor incident log entry was from Dec/2021. Since then, employees have been texting or verbally informing parents of minor incidents.

    Corrective action. A physical log must be maintained. If employees delete their messaging history w/ parents or lose/change their iphones, their communication w/ parents will be lost. Also, if employees are terminated or seek employment elsewhere, the licensee will no longer have access to that communication.
