    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Beds and bedding in the nap room were touching each other.

    Corrective action. To mitigate the risk of infection, the manager will make sure the beds do not touch each other.

    Observation. Files for two children and a care plan for one child was not available during this inspection.

    Corrective action. The manager will ensure that all children's files and care plans are available.

    Observation. Two volunteers have continued to be present at the facility without the results of a criminal record check being obtained. The licensee said she thought the volunteers could be at the facility even though the results had not been received, they had applied for a criminal record check.

    Corrective action. Volunteers must have the results of a valid criminal record check before they are present at the facility.
