• STAFFING

  A licensee must ensure that children have at all times immediate access to an employee who (a) holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, provided on completion of a course that meets the requirements of Schedule C.

  Observation. Upon arrival at the facility there was one staff member on site caring for a group of children. The staff member does not hold a valid first aid certificate.

  Corrective action. Ensure children have immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed three children's files. One file did not contain the name of telephone number of the child's medical practitioner or the name and telephone number of an emergency contact.

  Corrective action. Ensure all children's files are complete.
