- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must supply equipment, furniture and supplies that are (a) of sturdy and safe construction, easy to clean and free from hazards.
Observation. The diaper change mat in the infant room is showing signs of wear and cannot be sanitized properly. The Manager stated they would get a new one.
Corrective action. Ensure furniture is in good repair and can be sanitized effectively.

Observation. One staff had an expired criminal record check. Discussion occurred about this staff not working alone until they have a new clearance letter.
Corrective action. Ensure all staff have a valid criminal record check on file.
