    Observation. Licensing observed the Lead in Water tracking sheet in the Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) had not been recorded since June 3, 2024. The facility currently follows a corrective action plan for lead and water of a two minute flush and a record that it has been completed. Manager stated they do the 2 minute flush every morning but forgot to record.

    Corrective action. Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care. Specifically, following corrective action plan for Lead in Water.

    Observation. Licensing observed the corrective action plan for lead in water flushing had not been recorded this date. Manager stated she flushed the water for 2 minutes this date however did not record it.

    Observation. Licensing observed the facility had not followed their corrective action plan for lead in water of flushing for two minutes and recording. Manager stated that she had performed the flush for two minutes but did not record the flush.

    Corrective action. Ensure the community care facility is s operated in a manner that will promote the health and safety and dignity of the children in care.

    Observation. Licensing observed a record regarding yearly emergency plan practices was not kept.

    Observation. Licensing observed one medical form which stated "As Needed" and doses apart, showing doses were required four hours apart. Conflicting information on the directions for doses.

    Corrective action. Ensure medication is administered in amount and at times specified by parent/in child's record/care plan.

    Observation. Licensing audited eight children's files: five files were missing sex of child and one file was missing immunization status.

    Corrective action. Ensure current records are kept for each child showing sex of children and immunization status.

    Corrective action. Ensure evidence of compliance with Province's immunization & TB control programs obtained for employees.

    Observation. Licensing audited three staff files and observed one certificate was not validated through the ECEBC Registry.

    Corrective action. Ensure staff files are validated.
