  Observation. The furnace serving the facility is no longer operational.

  Observation. Facility has not notified Licensing of reportable incidents recorded in current log book.

  Not in good repair.

  Observation. Siding of shed was damaged by a bear as it tried to access emergency supplies. This damage was noted when previous Licensing Officer conducted a routine inspection of the preschool program in March 2018. At time of this inspection, the damage has not been repaired permanently.

  Criminal record checks have not been obtained. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)(a)]

  Observation. Manager informed Licensing Officer that one staff member has a check through local RCMP; however, to meet this requirement a criminal record check must be done through the Criminal Records Review Program.
