Furniture or equipment for sleeping is used by only one child at a time, is clean and comfortable, and is appropriate for the size, age and development of the children intended to use it. [CCLR Sec. 15(2)]
Observation. Program is using 3 playpens as cribs however, most playpens are not suitable for sleep. 2 of the 3 are older, unstable, and have no padding so children are directly on the hard floor. Manager advised via email that after checking, she confirmed that all 3 are not deemed safe for sleeping.

Observation. About 1/2 of the outdoor play space does not have appropriate surfacing. Space where grass used to be has been eroded away leaving just dirt, creating a dirty, uneven, dusty area. The same space may become muddy and slippery in the wet weather.
