Observation. Cleaning products were accessible to children in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program.
Corrective action. The manager will ensure children do not have access to cleaning products.
11200 - CCLR s.17 - EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. A wall behind a toilet in the Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) program is in need of cleaning.
Corrective action. The manager will ensure the wall behind the toilet is cleaned.
11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Two fridge temperatures were above 4c.
Corrective action. The manager will ensure all fridge temperatures are between 0-4c.
11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - LICENSING
A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility both the licence, including any terms or conditions of the licence, and the name of the manager.
Observation. The Community Care Facility Licence for the facility and the name of the manager are not posted.
Corrective action. The manager will ensure that the facility licence and the name of the manager are posted where they can be seen by families.

Observation. Licensing observed 2 staff files missing their criminal record checks
Corrective action. The Manager said the staff are new and the criminal record checks are in process. The Manager will provide a plan to Licensing while they are waiting for the results
