    Observation. Licensing reviewed four staff files and observed one file missing two written character references.

    Observation. Licensing reviewed four staff files and observed two staff files missing record of the persons immunization status declaration and/or immunization records.

    Corrective action. Ensure not to employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: evidence that the person has complied with the Province’s immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

    Observation. Licensing reviewed five of five children's files. Licensing observed there was no record of photos to readily identify children in an emergency. Staff stated that digital photos were taken but the digital files were overwritten on the camera.

    Corrective action. Ensure that, there is a photo of a child that be used to readily identify child in an emergency.

    Observation. Licensing observed that there was no record indicating that the two minute flushes for the facility corrective action plan regarding lead in water were conducted. Staff stated that flushes are conducted daily however were not documented.

    Corrective action. Ensure that lead in water corrective action plan is followed and corrective actions are documented.
