The area immediately outside the building which includes the pathway to the exit was filled with stacked boxes of supplies for the restaurant, these boxes impede the emergency exit and pose a risk of falling on children as they travel though the area. There are also large items stored in the playground reducing the useable space. The door to the restaurant and other non-childcare areas were wide open - this is a shared space with the daycare that the children travel through to go outside.
