    Observation. Licensing observed the following: - The picnic table in the outdoor play area has become chipped and broken, leading to splinters and an exposed nail that could potentially harm children. The manager confirmed that a disposal schedule has been arranged. - The sandbox does not have a cover. - Some wooden logs and features appears to be slippery, especially on rainy days.

    Observation. Emergency preparedness supplies are sufficient to meet the needs of the children and Licensee for a minimum of 72 hours. However, the items such as water and food supplies had expired in 2021.

    Observation. Several medication care plans are on site with current medication. One child with an anaphylactic allergy has expired medication One child with asthma medication doe not have a care plan

    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. A shelf was observed to be more than 48" in height. The shelf was not anchored in order to prevent it from tipping over.

    Observation. Licensing observed that the corners of the vinyl covered sleep mats are torn and have gaps in the vinyl. This does not allow the sleep mats to be appropriately cleaned and sanitized.
