The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. Licensing observed the children's washroom has been partially upgraded: - The baseboard has been partially replaced however the baseboard under the sink has not been replaced. - The mirror has been set aside on the ground and is pending installation. - The floor has been replaced. - The heater outlet has been replaced. - The handwashing sink has been replaced; however, the handwashing tap has not been installed on one sink.

Observation. This item remains outstanding. The manager has confirmed successfully put forward a proposal to Cap U, the construction company has initiated a quote for the project. The manager is in the process of finalizing the plan for submission and approval before the construction work commence.

Observation. Licensing observed the following in the children's washroom and were accessible to children: - The baseboard/wall was damaged with hole. - The floor surface had flaky, chipped paint. - The heater outlet was moldy. - There was moldy caulking around the handwashing sink, changing area, and toilets. - Open shelves were cluttered due to lack of storage (it is recommended to provide storage with closed cabinet doors to avoid the spread of germs and maintain hygiene.) These conditions appeared to no longer be in good repair or easy to clean.

Observation. Emergency preparedness supplies are sufficient to meet the needs of the children and Licensee for a minimum of 72 hours. However, the items such as water and food supplies had expired in 2021.
