  Observation. Licensing noted several walls in the classrooms had paint chips and needed repair. Cleaning and sanitizing procedures not followed. Same spray bottles containing sanitizer and soapy water were used for classroom and washroom

  Observation. Licensing noted a bottle of bleach was placed inside a cabinet and children had access.The safety lock on the cabinet was broken.

  Observation. Licensing noted several care plans were not reviewed with the parents/guardians yearly.

  Observation. Licensing noted one staff criminal record was expired. Staff was away from the facility at the time of the inspection.

  Indoor and outdoor activities are not appropriate for the age and development of the children. [CCLR Sec. 44(1)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed a wide range of materials for indoor use, however there were very limited options for children in the outdoor play area Manager explained that new materials and equipment for outside had been ordered and would arrive soon.

  Observation. In PreK 3, Licensing observed a medicated cream for a child with no care plan or instructions from parents about when to apply the cream. There was also no permission to administer the medication. In PreK 2 an updated asthma care plan is required

  Observation. Today`s inspection revealed one child for whom the registration documentation indicated that they need emergency medication for a life threatening allergy, asthma, and other allergies, however, medication and care plan were not available.

  Observation. Staff were aware they must conduct daily outdoor safety checklist, however a log was not accurately completed and kept for LO to review.
