  Observation. Licensing observed that the community care facility licence was not posted.

  Corrective action. Ensure the community care facility licence is displayed in a prominent place in the community care facility.

  3080 - CCLR 11(1)
• A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a criminal record check for the person

  Observation. Licensing reviewed three staff files. One file did not contain a criminal record check.

  Corrective action. Ensure a criminal record check is obtained for all employees.

  3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a)
• A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: evidence that the person has complied with the Province’s immunization and tuberculosis control programs

  Observation. Licensing reviewed three staff files. One file did not contain immunization status. This was corrected at the time of the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure immunization status is obtained for all employees.

• A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed eight children's files. One file did not contain immunization status.

  Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept for each child showing immunization status.

• A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact

  Observation. Licensing reviewed eight children's files. One file did not contain the name and telephone number for a medical practitioner.

  Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept for each child showing name and telephone number for a medical practitioner.

  Observation. Licensing observed that one staff did not have a staff file on site.

  Corrective action. Ensure records referred to in Sections 56-58 are kept in a single place at the community care facility.
