  Observation. Regarding intake dated April 23, 2026. Through the investigation process Licensing determined that the Licensee, by admission, did not ensure appropriate behavioral guidance of a child by using a loud tone of voice, and more force than was necessary to grasp a child's hand.

  Corrective action. Ensure that behavioral guidance is appropriate to the age and development of the child who is receiving the guidance. Action/s required by Licensee. Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On June 1, 2026, the Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: Licensee would complete online coursework through the Child Mind Family Resource Centre related to guiding children's behavior, and prepare a summary of learning which would be submitted to Licensing. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the criminal record checks for two persons over the age of twelve who are ordinarily present at the premise had expired.

  Corrective action. Ensure the licensee must not permit a person over the age of twelve to be ordinarily present on the premise unless the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for that person.
