• STAFFING

  Observation. Upon inspection, the staff file was not available for one staff.

  Corrective action. Please ensure there is a current record for each employee that includes the records required under section 19(1)

• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Licensing Officer observed a bent metal wire at children's height on the metal fencing alongside the sandbox in the outdoor space which could potentially cause an injury.

  Corrective action. Ensure that a safe environment is provided at all times.

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

  Observation. Of the three records reviewed, three did not include sex, two did not include an MSP number and two did not include immunization status.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep, for each child, a record showing the above information.

  Observation. Of the three records reviewed, two did not include the name of a medical practitioner and one did not include the telephone number of a medical practitioner.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep, for each child, a record showing the above information.
