    Observation. Regarding intake dated February 9, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that a staff had grabbed and moved a child without communication as a form of behaviour guidance.

    Corrective action. Ensure that behavioral guidance is appropriate to the age and development of the child who is receiving the guidance. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 30 and April 9, 2026, Manager submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: all staff would review and sign off on the Guidance policy and Guiding Children's Behavior policy and Section 51 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

    Observation. Licensing observed the onsite outdoor spaces were being used by the programs were being used. Manager stated that the outdoor spaces had been used since completion in the beginning of August. Licensing completed an inspection of the outdoor spaces and did not observe an hazards and the spaces were approved for use at the inspection.

    Corrective action. Ensure licensee must operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health safety and dignity of persons in care.
