A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Licensing observed the outdoor area requires some maintenance which includes clearing the tree debris and ensuring cleanliness of the outdoor equipment..
Corrective action. Licensee must ensure that the outdoor area is maintained and ready for play at all times.

A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Observation. Licensing observed the water temperature at 56.6 degrees celsius. Licensee said they will ensure that it is under 49 degrees celsius.
Corrective action. Licensee must ensure that the water temperature is no more than 49 degrees celsius.

Observation. Licensing observed and discussed the following with the manager today: - Storage for toys and materials: Plastic shelves are not securely anchored to the wall and various objects are stored in all levels of the shelving unit. LO discussed about storing heavy objects on lower shelves (fall hazard). -Portable heater was on. The metal plate was hot to touch and accessible to children.
