Observation. LO reviewed five staff files of which two had expired criminal record checks and two were obtained through the RCMP and not through the criminal record review program.

A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with staff: - cleaning supplies were stored on washroom counter and accessible to children (corrected on site) - location of the gate installed on top of the stairs poses tripping hazard - loose wooden planks stored within the playground and accessible to children
