- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that each piece of furniture or equipment for sleeping (c) is appropriate for the size, age and development of the children intended to use it.
Observation. The playpens in the infant/toddler nap room were observed to have additional mattresses installed in the equipment. Following the manufactures instructions for safety guidelines was reviewed in depth with the facility manager and staff at the time of the inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure each piece of furniture or equipment for sleeping is appropriate.
