Observation. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff implemented strategies to support a child in care, there was no care plan developed with the parent.
Corrective action. Ensure to develop a care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s required by Licensing: On February 6, 2025, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: [child] had not attended the daycare since December 2024, should the child return in care, a care plan would be developed in collaboration with the family and staff. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
