- Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.
Observation. Regarding intake received November 10, 2025, Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that on November 6 and 10, 2025, children were not supervised by staff; the children were left in care of the practicum student.
Corrective action. Ensure that the ratio of employees to chidlren attending the community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E. Action/s required by Licensee; Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s required by Licensing: On November 20, 2025, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: As of November 21, 2025, the Practicum student was no longer at the facility. An exemption was submitted on November 19, 2025, for one of the current staff to ensure sufficient staff/child ratio is maintained. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
