Observation. Licensing observed three new spring ride on toys had been added to the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) outdoor play yard. Licensing observed there is less than 6 feet of clearance between the spring toys and the yellow 'teeter totter' spring toy is less than 6 feet from the fence.
Corrective action. Ensure a 1.8 metre (6 feet) clearance around equipment.

Observation. Licensing observed that the entanglement test, using entanglement hazard tool, failed three times on each side of the yellow slide of the composite climber in the Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) outdoor play yard. This represents an immediate risk. Licensing observed Staff put orange marking tape to block access to slide until entanglement hazard could be repaired. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
Corrective action. Ensure children do not have access to any equipment with a risk of entanglement.
