Observation. Ground surfacing is extremely dusty (facility is in a region regularly under severe water restrictions during summer months), hot and cleanliness cannot be maintained (raking or blowing) to an effective level.

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. Main entrance door to child care is in a state of disrepair. Door is heavy, opens wide and swings quickly shut before person has moved through door. LO experienced this hazard when arriving to conduct inspection. The risk of children being injured is significant.
