- A licensee must ensure that children have at all times immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, provided on completion of a course that meets the requirements of Schedule C,
Observation. Licensing observed the Licensee's First Aid Certificate expired August 4, 2025.
Corrective action. Ensure children have access to a person with a valid First Aid Certificate at all times.
3010 - CCLR 23(1)(a) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Observation. Licensing reviewed five children's enrollment records. Four children did not have a Medical Insurance Plan number on file. Licensee received three Medical Insurance Plan numbers from parents by text during this inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure all children have a Medical Insurance Plan number on file at the time of enrollment.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(a) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure
Observation. Licensing reviewed children's attendance records. Time of arrival and time of departure were not recorded on children's attendance records.
Corrective action. Ensure children's attendance records show time of arrival and time of departure.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(c) - A licensee must ensure that each employee practices implementing the emergency plan at least once each year.
Observation. Licensing reviewed emergency drill records and no emergency drill was recorded for 2025. Licensee stated she thought she had done the drill but did not record it.
Corrective action. Ensure emergency drills (sometimes called Earthquake Drills) are practiced at least once annually.
