  • 3000 - SPS DOLSOP (Depth)

    Observation. Licensing measured depth surfacing under elevated equipment in the Group Child Care (School Age) program. The triple slide with seven feet monkey bars had between one and two inches of depth surfacing. The five feet high metal dome has between one and two inches of depth surfacing. Acting manager at this inspection stated children in the Group Child Care (School Age) programs will not use the elevated equipment until additional depth surfacing is added and Licensing returns to inspect the equipment to ensure it meets Licensing requirements.

    Corrective action. Ensure elevated equipment with a seven feet fall height has a minimum of 12 inches of depth surfacing and equipment with a five feet fall height has a minimum of 6 inches of depth surfacing.
