Observation. Licensing reviewed six employee records and one employee did not have immunization status on file.
Corrective action. Ensure all employees have a record of their immunization status on file.
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(f) - A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: a record of the person’s work history
Observation. Licensing reviewed six employee records, one staff did not have a record of work history (or resume) on file.
Corrective action. Ensure all employees have a record of work history (or resume) on file.
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(c) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (j) a record of any person who is not permitted access to the child
Observation. Licensing reviewed six children's records. None of these children's records had persons not permitted pick up of child.
Corrective action. Ensure children's registration records include persons not permitted access to a child in care.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(j) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Observation. Licensing reviewed six children records. One child did not have a Medical Health Number on file and four children did not have immunization status (record of immunizations given with dates) on file.
Corrective action. Ensure each child has a Medical Health Number and immunization status (with dates) on file.
