A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. A bathroom in the Infant/Toddler classroom was found to have a bathroom spray accessible on the toilet. The Manager said that this bathroom is a staff bathroom and is usually closed. Licensing explained that although the bathroom door is usually closed, it is typically unlocked and discussed options for installing safety door knob covers.
Corrective action. The Manager will address the contravention.
