- POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation. Licensing oserved that the fire extinguishers were overdue for annual service. The Licensee contact followed up and said it would be completed by the end of August
Corrective action. Please ensure that all areas of the emerency plan are in place for a successful evacuation if required.
13020 - CCLR s.22(1)(b) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.
Observation. A care plan for two children requiring extra support was not available to staff to include the course of action recommended by health care professionals.
Corrective action. Please ensure all care plans are in place to assist the staff in adequately supporting the children when required.
