Observation. Licensing observed that there were eight children in care at the time of the inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure that the capacity of the facility is not exceeded.
3030 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i) - A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.
Observation. Licensing observed one large towel, in the bathroom, for use by all the children.
Corrective action. Ensure that the practice of hand washing is conducted in a manner to promote the health and safety of children.
3060 - CCLR 46(1) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Observation. Licensing observed that two children's records had not contained medical services numbers.
Corrective action. Ensure that all children's record contain the child's medical services number.
