- A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as either Preschool (30 months to School Age) or Group Child Care (School Age), must have in a community care facility a sturdy surface for changing diapers, located outside the food preparation area, next to a covered container for soiled clothing
Observation. Licensing observed that the covered container for soiled clothing was not being used.
Corrective action. Ensure that a covered container for soiled clothing is used.
3060 - CCLR 14(4)(a) - Log kept of all inspections, maintenance & repairs
Observation. Licensing observed there were some missing records of outdoor inspections.
Corrective action. Ensure that a log of outdoor inspections is kept.
3070 - SPS DOLSOP (Log Kept) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.
Observation. Licensing reviewed 5 children's files, four files were missing a record of the sex of a child and two files were missing a record of immunization status.
Corrective action. Ensure that a record is kept for each child showing the sex of the child and immunization status.
