Observation. Currently all staff in building use the toilet in the children's washroom. When in use, children are prevented from using sinks or toilets. CCLR Section 14(2) requires 1 toilet and 1 washbasin for every 10 children - with the washroom occupied by 7 or more staff through out the day, children do not have the required access.

Licensing observed the following deficiencies in the facility: - Glass in main entrance door is damaged and should be replaced to prevent possible injury - Walls through centre are badly chipped, damaged and marked particularly in children's washroom - Counter top in children's washroom is in disrepair from use and age. Laminate is peeling exposing wet particle board and creating sharp edges. - Ceiling fan is missing cover - Missing door trims and moulding - Chest freezer in main play area does not seal and large rust spots where the structure of the freezer is delaminating. - Wood cupboards suspended from ceiling (between open kitchen and main play area) are supported by a wooden 2x4
