- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Licensing observed the following; - wood and paint on the playground wooden fence is chipped - insufficient resilient surfacing under one of the plastic slides and the concrete is exposed
Corrective action. A correction action plan to be submitted to Licensing on how this contravention has been addressed.
11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - OR SUPERVISION
Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (a) children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Three children younger then 36 months old in the program. Based on the care program being provided there should be no more then 2 children under 3 years old.
Corrective action. The child was taken back to the care program they are registered in.
14020 - CCLR s.34(2)(a) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep current records for each child showing (a) the information set out in subsection (2), (b) if applicable, the information and agreements set out in subsections (2.1) and (2.2), and (c) the consents referred to in subsection (3).
Observation. One child's record's not available at the community care facility.

19060 - CCLR s.57(1)(a)(b)(c) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
