Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (a) children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E.

Observation. There are six children under the age of 3 years of age that are enrolled full time into the program. Licensee stated that they did not realize that they could only have 3 children under 3 years of age.

Corrective action. Please provide a written response to indicate how you will address the contravention noted above on or before October 2, 2026

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (b) character references in respect of the person.

Observation. Staff files reviewed, one staff was missing references.

Corrective action. Please provide a written response on or before October 2, 2026

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (f) evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

Observation. Immunization status was not obtained for two employees.
