- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. Fridge temperature measured for 8 degrees.
Corrective action. Fridge must be kept between 0-4 degrees.
11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (f) a log of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H.
Observation. Facility does not have a minor incident log system in place.
Corrective action. Licensee will create a system for loggin minor incidents.
19050 - CCLR s.56(1)(f) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.
Observation. Upon review of two childrens files. One did not have an immunization record.
Corrective action. Licensee will get the immunization record from parents.
19070 - CCLR s.57(2)(a) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
Observation. Facility does not have an attendance system in place.
Corrective action. Licensee will create an attendance system and use daily.
19090 - CCLR s.57(2)(c) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (i) a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency.
Observation. Upon review of two children files. Both files did not have a photo on record.
Corrective action. Licensee will receive photos from parents.
