A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. The following were observed today; - Bleach bottle accessible to children in toddler room -Closets doors need to be secured -Nap room music device wire was close to child's bed.
Corrective action. Please ensure that a safe and healthy environment is provided to children at all time.

A licensee must establish a program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene.
Observation. Beddings of two children were too close and touching, posing risk of cross contaminating.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
Observation. Attendance records are inaccurate; one child was not signed in and other child was not signed out of the room he was originally dropped off but then moved to another classroom.
Corrective action. Please ensure that attendance records are accurate to keep track of children's whereabouts and in the event of emergencies.
