  Observation. Licensing observed ten children's records and four were missing the date of enrolment. This was corrected during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept for each child with the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility

• A licensee must immediately notify a parent or emergency contact if, while under the care or supervision of the licensee, the child becomes ill or is injured,

  Observation. Licensing observed six minor incidents in the minor incident log between September 3 and October 28, 2025, where a parent or emergency contact was not notified immediately of when a child was injured.

  Corrective action. Ensure that a parent or emergency contact is immediately notified if while under the care or supervision of the Licensee, the child becomes ill or is injured.

• A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.

  Observation. Licensing observed ten children's records showing name, date of birth, medical plan number and immunization status. Two records were missing the sex of the child. This was corrected during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure each child's records show all of the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status;

  Observation. Licensing observed two Early Childhood Educators (ECE) and one Early Childhood Assistant (ECEA) in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program.

  Corrective action. Ensure the ratio of employees to children attending the facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.

• A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: evidence that the person has complied with the Province’s immunization and tuberculosis control programs

  Observation. Licensing performed an audit of 10 staff files this date. Two files were missing an immunization status. This item was corrected at time of inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure staff files contain an immunization status.
