  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The enrolment date for one child was missing. During the inspection, this information was recorded.

• STAFFING

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation) Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): For one staff file, the current ECE certificate validation was missing. During the inspection, this was obtained and placed in the staff's file.

  Corrective action. Please ensure staff files are completed with all required information.

• STAFFING

  A licensee must ensure that each employee (a) is trained in the implementation of the fire drill system and emergency plan described in subsection (1), including the use of any equipment noted in the fire drill system and emergency plan.

  Observation. On both fire extinguishers, the next service due date is unclear. As per the staff, the extinguishers were inspected last month. On 1 of the extinguishers, there is a date of "Oct 22". It is unclear what this date indicates.

  Corrective action. Please ensure the next service due date is clearly indicated on both fire extinugishers.
