  Observation. Licensing observed no record, on the monthly fire drill record log, of fire drills having been implemented in June or July 2026 and Licensing observed the Licensee state that children were in care but fire drills had not been implemented in June or July 2026.

  Corrective action. Ensure that each employee preactices implementing the fire drill system at least once each month.

• A licensee must keep a copy of the written statement, referred to in Section 19 of the Act, that the licensee delivers to persons who prepay part of the cost of services

  Observation. Licensing observed no evidence in any of the reviewed three child files, that parents had received a copy of the repayment agreement; there were no copies of the repayment agreement nor any parent handbook declaration or acceptance statement, that indicated parents were aware of the agreement, understood and agreed to it.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep a copy of the written statement, referred to in Section 19 of the Act, that the licensee delivers to persons who prepay part of the cost of services.

• A licensee must keep current records for each child showing (a) the information set out in subsection (2)

  Observation. Licensing observed one child in care did not have a registration form or any other evidence that child file requirements had been obtained.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep current records for each child showing the information set out in subsection (2) and the consents referred to in subsection (3).

• A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure

  Observation. Licensing observed no evidence of daily attendance records for the month of August 2026 and licensing observed the Licensee state that children had attended after the Licensee's summer vacation, beginning August 11, 2026.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep a daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.
