Play on Paisley Pre-K, a licensed childcare program near Edgemont for children ages 2-5, is inspired by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia creating emergent, play-based learning experiences. Rooted in the BC Early Learning Framework, children spend part of each day exploring forests and parks, connecting with nature, and developing foundational academic knowledge through hands-on experiences. Through engaging phonics games, fine-motor games, writing journals, and songs in English, French, Spanish, Korean, and Mandarin, children develop a lifelong love of learning!
